It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a special wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother at the age of 87. Wife of 63 years to Gennaro and cherished mother of Antonio (Leslie), Maria (Francesco), and Frank. Devoted grandmother of Gennaro (Julie), Giovanna (David), Veronica (Jonathan), Pasquale (Melissa), Giovanna (Mateusz), and great grandmother of Luca. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Domenico (late Antonietta), Maria (late Pasquale), Francesca (late Nick), Michele (Pasqualina), Carmela (late Giuseppe) and her sister in laws Rosa, Concetta and brother in law Giuseppe (Giuseppina). Predeceased by her siblings Antonietta (late Pasquale) and Giuseppe (Carmela), she will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends in Montreal, Italy and New York.
Visitations will take place at Kane and Fetterly 5301 Decarie Blvd, Montreal, Qc, H3W3C4 ( Corner Isabella) on Sunday March 4th, 2018 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. The funeral will be held at Ste-Catherine-de-Sienne Parish, 7070 Somerled Avenue in Montreal on Monday March 5th, 2018 at 11am followed by burial at Notre Dame de Neiges Cemetery (reception to follow at 2pm at Ste- Catherine de Sienne in the Parish Hall).
The family would like to thank all her caregivers, especially Zia Rosa, for providing her with the best quality of life in her final years.
