Rodrigo Reyes Sr.
January 18, 1941-January 2, 2018
It is with great sadness and shock we announce the sudden passing of Rodrigo on January 2, 2018. Rodrigo was predeceased by his parents Patricio and Pilar; and two brothers Benjamin and Eduardo. Rodrigo was survived by his partner of many years, Gloria; his sons Deck (Tara); Gogoy (Lisa); Ron (Corinne); and daughter Rosemarie; grandkids Ander, Dash, Tyson, Talia, Manyika, Kailan & Ewan; brother Carlos Sr. and sisters Purificacion, Josefina, Carmelita, Aurora and many nieces and nephews.
Rodrigo was known by the name Rudy to everyone. He was always telling a joke, making us laugh and could be spotted checking out nice cars. Rudy was the third youngest child of eight born in the Philippines, where he grew up to be an artist and successfully ran his own silk screen business. The family decided to emigrate from the Philippines to Canada in 1989, and settled in Montreal, Quebec. Rudy continued to work in the silk screen industry in Canada until he retired in 2006. Along with working hard, Rudy spent many years playing Keno, driving his car everywhere and hanging out with his friends. He lived and loved life to the fullest.
