It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanni Polidori on February 26, 2018 at the age of 82. Husband of 54 years to Fausta (nee D’Alesio). Cherished father of Valentino (Louise) and Federico (Chantal). Devoted grandfather of Gabriele, Simone, Alessia and Stefano. Predeceased by his brothers: Mattia (Nazzarena), Giulio (Linda), Ilario (Angelina) and Mario (Ada). He will be sadly missed by his brother Adriano (Giuseppina) as well as brothers and sisters in law: Domenico (Gilda), Graziano (Gloria), Elisabetta (the late, Emidio), Angela (the late, Lorenzo), Giuseppina (Pasquale) along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at: Kane & Fetterly 5301 Decarie Blvd. Montreal, on Thursday March 1 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral ceremony will take place at Sainte-Catherine-de-Sienne Church 7070, avenue Somerled, Montreal on Friday March 2 at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery. The family would like to extend many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Hospital for the wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation in memory of Giovanni Polidori would be appreciated: https://stmaryshospitalfoundation.ca.
