ALAIN (AL) GAGNON,
1926 – 2017
Passed away peacefully at the Sunrise of Beaconsfield residence on Sunday April 30, 2017, at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his son Claude, he leaves to mourn his wife of 64 years, Mary Drab, his daughter Lise and son-in-law Len Luckie, as well as his grandchildren Karine (Adam) and Patrick (Tanya). He also leaves his brother Michel (Mireille) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Al worked in insurance claims for many years at La Souveraine Co. d’Assurances as well as at Transit Co.. Life member of the Montreal West Curling Club where he leaves many friends.
Sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of the Sunrise residence for their kindness and loving care.
A funeral service will be at the Kane Fetterly Funeral Home Chapel, 5301 Decarie (corner Isabella) on Thursday, May 11 at 1:00 pm. Family will receive condolences 2 hours prior to service, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Procure.ca or the Douglas Institute Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
