Often on the morning of the funeral, close friends and family will gather at the funeral home. For convenience, a light breakfast can be offered. This may be especially appreciated by those who have not had time to eat.
Wine & Cheese
This type of reception can be suitable late in the afternoon when lunch is no longer an option and it is too early for dinner.
Luncheon
You may feel overwhelmed at the thought of preparing a meal for out-of-town guests, friends and family. Let us take the stress away and let you spend more time with your family and friends. This type of reception may be chosen following a late-morning service.
Dessert
This type of reception can be suitable for a short, informal gathering or can be added to any other reception. You may also consider a dessert reception at an evening service.
An occasion to share memories
Holding a reception allows guests to share their memories of the deceased in a casual and non-structured atmosphere.
Hold your event before or after a gathering, visitation, memorial service or funeral. You can choose a reception even if you forego a service.
