June 27, 1929 - March 28, 2017
Son of Michael McManus and Eileen Burke (decd) Survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Sarah Henry. Loving father of Marie (Phil Lacoste), Ann (Brian Smeall), John (Jean McLeod), Tom (Brenda Seely), Dan (Jennifer Bergeron, Decd), and Sheila (Bill Jarand).
Grandfather of Susan (Jason Safdie), Cheryl, Jill (Joe Orsini), Mathew, Liam, Meaghan, Emily (Chris Nicholson), Kyla, Adam, Chelsea, Melissa, Riley.
Great Grandfather to Alice, Sullivan, Jubilee. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in law, brothers in law and friends.
Bernie had a 36 year career at Bell Canada and enjoyed 34 years of retirement, mostly spent at the home he built in St. Gabriel de Brandon
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or ALS would be appreciated.
Visitation will take place at Kane Fetterly Funeral 5301 Blvd. Decarie (corner Isabella), Montreal, QC. 514 481-5301 on Friday April 7, 2017 from 11:00 to 13:00 follow by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home.
