Passed away peacefully in his 86th year on November 21, 2014 after an extended illness. Predeceased by his beloved parents Annie (née Brazier) and John Joseph, and siblings Harry, John, and Nan. Will be dearly missed by his wife of 19 years, Emma Paa, his stepdaughters Kim and Stella, grandchildren Naomi, Alexander, and Nicky, and his many nieces and nephews and other extended family, all of whom will cherish their memories of him as a fun-loving and caring person. His siblings and nephews in particular were delighted by his many surprise appearances at their homes, where he would provide a welcome infusion of playful spontaneity before departing for his next family activity. A fondness for travel, friends, and gadgets sustained him in his later years following a long and distinguished career in business development with Canadian National Railways.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Veronica's Church, 1300 Carson, Dorval, on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at noon. Family will receive condolences in church one hour prior to the service.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
