PERRY, Lawrence William
November 30, 1933 - December 8, 2015
Larry was born in the Maritimes, but as a young adult he moved to Montreal to attend university and it is in this city that he met the love of his life, Françoise Landry.
Larry was a very intelligent person who loved his family deeply, worked very hard to provide for them and was able to show them the world. Early on in his life it was apparent that he had the gift to play golf at a very high level. That carried through to his adult life and on weekends, when he wasn’t travelling around the world for work, you could find him on a golf course.
Predeceased by his parents George and Ruth, and his daughter Louise (2010), he leaves in mourning his wife of 61 years Francoise, daughter Carole, son and daughter-in-law John and Lisa, and grandsons Yannik, Michel, Spencer and Nicholas. Also mourned by his sisters Alice, Sarah-Jane (Norman), Mary and brother George (Joan); sisters-in-law Madeleine, Jacqueline (Gilles), Monique (Buddy), Pierrette, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his aunts Bertha and Alice.
For those of us who knew Larry, we will remember his smile, big laugh, how he truly enjoyed walking to and from work, and that he tried to make the world a better place to live for everyone. It is amazing what the little boy from Sambro, Nova Scotia accomplished in the international business world.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Donations to the Brome Missisquoi Perkins (BMP) Hospital Foundation in Cowansville in memory of Louise Perry will also be greatly appreciated.
