SUPINO, Teresina (nee Di Girolamo)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic loss of our mother and matriarch of the Supino family after a short illness. She passed away 5 days after her 101st birthday.
Wife of the late Francesco Supino, mother to the late Angela (Dominic Di Giovanni), Antonio (Silvia Monti), Michelina (Mike Giangaspero),Joseph (Mary Holdbrook), Carmela (the late Giovanni Caporicci), Michael (Sharron Smith) and devoted children Dominic and especially Anna who cared for her for many years and to whom we greatly thankful and very appreciative. She leaves behind many friends and relatives in Montreal and Provvidenti, Italy. Teresina left her beloved family in Italy in 1954 with her children in tow and landed at Pier 21 in Halifax on her way to Montreal to join her husband Francesco and son Antonio. She was grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of 34.
Visitation at the Kane and Fetterly funeral home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass at St Monica’s Parish, 6405 de Terrebonne on Friday, November 24 at 10 am., thence to Marguerite Bourgeois Mausoleum at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society, Dans la Rue or Accueil Bonneau. While she was with us the world was a much better place and we are diminished by her passing.
