Born April 10, 1931.
On July 27, 2016, after a brave and determined battle with cancer, our cherished mother left us to be reunited with our father, her beloved husband, Frank. Her courage, strength, and enduring patience will continue to inspire us. Isabel was the devoted and proud mother (and mother-in-law) of Murray, Jo-Ann (Ian), Rob (Helen), and Tom (Sophie), loving grandmother of 10, and great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Ross (Shirley) and the late David (Kaye), aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to so many.
Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 1, at Kane and Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Blvd. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 2, at 11 a.m. at Mount Royal Cemetery Chapel, 1297 Forest Road, Outremont.
Special thanks to Bessy Bitzas and the doctors, nurses, and support staff of the Jewish General Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
