David Reginald Willson
March 26, 1946 - November 3, 2016
David Reginald Willson, 70, passed away on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at his home in Hawkesbury Ontario following a hard fought battle with cancer.
Forever remembered by his Loving Friend Valerie Huber; his daughters Cristina Tomas (Kevin Tomas), Stacie Willson, Laura Willson; his son Matthew Willson (Amy Willson) and his seven grandchildren Teagan, Lilly, Ellen, Colton, Scarlett, Macauley, and Sienna. He will be sadly missed by mother of his children and wife of 32 years Francesca Willson and many close friends.
Born at St. Mary's Hospital on March 26th 1946 and raised in Montreal, Quebec, the son of John Willson and Francis Willson (Mossey), He Attended Loyola High School class of '66 and after an illustrious football career with the Loyola Warriors he graduated Loyola College class of '70. He started his own business out of college. He then obtained his real estate license in '77 and obtained a job as a manager at Crown Trust in Montreal. Upon moving to Edmonton, Alberta he attended University of Alberta Law School graduating in '85. After graduating he opened his own law firm Willson and Associates and had a long successful career defending those who could not defend themselves. In 2014 he moved out to Hawkesbury Ontario to be closer to his friends and Family in his final years.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kevin's Parish, 5600 Cote-des-Neiges Rd., on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at 12h30. Family will receive condolences in church half an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery.
