Peacefully on January 9, 2017 in his 83rd year. Devoted husband of the late Joan Casey and loving father of Maureen (Michael) and Stephen (Isabelle). Proud grandfather of Elya, Colm, Casey, and Conall. Predeceased by brothers Henry (the late Claire), Fr. Richard, and Philip (Margaret) and infant son, Kevin. Survived by sister, Joan (the late Tony) and brothers, John (Ann), and Paul (Cathy). His humor, stories, and gentle kindness will be remembered by his nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation at Kane and Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Friday, November 13th from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral Mass at Saint Augustine’s of Canterbury Church (5323 Notre Dame de Grâce) Saturday, November 14th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Raphael’s Palliative Care Home and Day Centre, 2001 Lajoie Avenue, Mtl., Qc., H3S 1V6 , www.maisonstraphael.org , would be appreciated.
