DINTER, Elke (nee Bieder).
After a lengthy battle with cancer on March 19, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Ain Rosin. Dear friend to all she met in Europe and North America. She will be fondly remembered by all.
Elke emigrated from her beloved Berlin to Montreal in the late sixties always keeping ''einen Koffer in Berlin''. She loved animals, especially cats and also supported many charities that saved animals lives. She embraced and mastered all technology to help her keep in touch with all of her friends. In her later life, raising money for cancer research became her passion and she even walked thirteen times in the Cancer Walk for the Jewish General Hospital helping to raise funds and awareness. Elke enjoyed life to its fullest and never lost hope despite the adversities she faced.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Kane & Fetterly funeral home chapel, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Thursday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m.
