SINEL, Frances Helen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Helen Sinel (nee Cox) - predeceased by husband Bob, on Thursday November 16th at the age of 94.
Beloved mother of Gary, Barbara Anne, Tom, Peter, and the late Michael (survived by wife Marie-Claude). Loving Grandmother to Erin, Kristin, Valerie, and Sabrina. Dear "Mum" of Josie.
A devoted Mother who successfully raised 5 children, worked for many years at The Hockey News, gave loving care to her husband, volunteered at the Julius Richardson Hospital in Montreal, and made many friends at the YMCA in NDG, including Jo and Elva. She retired and eventually moved to Milton, Ontario where she enjoyed exploring the Halton Hills by car with Gary, and made numerous and treasured friends of those she met in everyday life. A lover of cats and butterflies - she will live forever in the memories of the people she touched in life.
You are invited to come and share in a celebration of her life on Monday, November 20th from 4 to 7 PM, followed by a ceremony at 7 PM at the Kane Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie (corner Isabella).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for The Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
