LALLA Rajdai (1933-2018)
On June 18.
Predeceased by parents Mahase and Sooganie Lalla of Dow Village, California, Trinidad. Mother of Sarran "Prakash" Bhola (Marie Lépinay); Grandmother to Sara(Johnathon), Isabelle; Great grandmother to Francis and Gabrielle; sister to Dassie, Manbass, Dr Roopnarine, Krishnarine, Sumintra, Satnarine,Hari, Chaitnarine,Savitri, Shanti, Drupatie(deceased) and Jainarine(deceased); sister-in-law to their loved spouses;aunt to their many children,grand children and great grand children;cousin to her parents' nephews and nieces.
Rajdai studied at the Archibald Institute(Trinidad), graduate nurse (England) and worked in Trinidad, Toronto General Hospital, Nursing Director at Central Park Lodge(Kitchener,Ont), Head Nurse at Indigenous Nursing Stations in Northern Manitoba(Berens River, Cross Lake, Sandy Bay). Completed BA(Psychology, Wilfrid Laurier University), Masters in Psychology (Adler Institute,Chicago) and worked for many years in family counselling.
Celebration of life will be at Kane Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Boul. Décarie (corner Isabella), Montréal, QC on July, 1st 2018 at 2:00pm. Family will recieve condolences one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oncology Dept, Jewish General Hospital.
