The family of Mr. Edwin Barclay Seaforth aka Operator, gives notice of his transition on September 20, 2019.
Edwin has resided in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for most of his years, and where he was employed by CN, Canadian National.
He was in poor health for an extended period of time.
Edwin was born on September 8, 1929 in Buxton/Friendship East Coast Demerara, Guyana.
He managed to attain the age of ninety, almost two weeks before his passing.
Edwin was the son of the late Ivy Murriel and Prince Albert Seaforth also of Guyana.
Operator, by which he is known by most, leaves to mourn, his wife Thelma, his five children Lloyd, Gordon, Deborah, Constance, and Paula.
Grandfather of Marlon, Shonell, Naomi, Odessa, Ayodele, Alexis, Gordon, Alexia, Gideon, Kevin, Justin, Martin, Bernard Jr., Zorian and Amaris.
Great grandfather of Jamal, Immanuel, Jonathan, Annalise, and Kaylee. Uncle of Clennam, Gordon, Waddington, Neil, Eardley, Keith, Randolph Jr, Nigel, Atley jr., Adewale, Faith, Denise, Dianne, Aletia, Ayana, Andaiye, and many surviving great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three siblings: Kwame Apata, Claudia Muriel Seaforth Mercurius, and Stella Alicia Seaforth, and survived by two, Emmie Eileen Seaforth and Atley Seaforth.
Edwin has numerous surviving relatives.
He was the close friend of Mr. Wilfred Musgrave Lee, Patrick Mc Cauley, and many others.
Edwin, both in body and spirit, has inevitably been removed from us to lie in eternal peace.
Please join us in celebration of Edwin's life.
The viewing will held at Kane Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Boulevard, Montreal, Quebec on October 3, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm.
The 11 am service will be held at St. Paul's Church, 3970 Cote Sainte Catherine, Montreal, Quebec on October 4, 2019.
