English teacher at Westhill & Malcom Campbell High Schools, Garry Halpert passed away peacefully at St-Mary's on April 5, 2018, surrounded by family. He leaves his ex-wife Jeannine, daughter Nicole, son-in-law Robert and his grand-daughters, Marianne and Emily. Born in Cleveland, Garry was an optimist who loved life to the fullest.
His inquisitive mind, creativity and sense of humour kept him on this planet for almost 92 years! Garry was a fan of musical comedies, classical repertoire films & Shakespeare. " Never leave the house without a Shakespeare in your pocket", he once said.
We should celebrate Garry. He was not one for melancholy and sadness. Get together will take place Saturday, April 14 from 2 p.m to 5 p.m. at Kane & Fetherly.
