It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Voula Vamvas (née Sotos) in Montreal, Quebec, on November 24 at age 85.
Voula’s strength, stubborn will, fearlessness, kind heart and endearing mischievousness will be greatly missed by her sons and daughter, her sisters, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends whose life she touched.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 27 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Kane and Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd Montreal, H3W 3C4. Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday, November 28 at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2455 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine at 12 pm (noon). A gathering at the church basement will take place following her burial.
