Mary Lesiw Menard
(August 26, 1929 – January 16, 2019)
came to Canada after World War II, as a war-displaced refugee. She built a life in Montreal as a seamstress, fashion model then devoted wife and mother. Survived by daughter Julia Menard, son Raymond Menard and granddaughters Natashia McCool Menard and Erinne Menard Paisley. Pre-deceased by husband, Raymond Menard (2000), mother, Julia Boury, father Joseph Lesiw and all her siblings: Anna, Nick, Roman and Stasiw. Missed by nieces and nephews, including Aunt Ryza, Romana, Victor, Yuri & Roman. Also missed by Jean-Luc Menard, Veronica Kuziomko, Brian and Stuart Paisley, Sandra McCool, Lana Mike. Remembered by friends and neighbours including Ingrid & Ronald Ghenender, the Timbols, Nicole, Mike Sergakis and much family in Morshin, Ukraine.
Funeral at Kane & Fetterly on Jan 24 from noon to 1 pm.
