It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elisa, affectionately known as “Minuccia” to close family, on Monday at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Montreal.
Born in Paternopoli (Avellino), she emigrated to Canada as a young bride in 1959. She joins her cherished husband and son, Felice and Silvio and is survived by her children Daniela, Bruno and Piero.
The family will receive condolences Monday, January 4 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Kane & Fetterly funeral home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation, 3830 Lacombe Ave., suite 1510, Montréal QC, H3T 1M5, https://stmaryshospitalfoundation.ca/donate-now/.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection chapel, 4601 Côte-des-Neiges Road, Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery and she will be interred alongside her husband and son at the Marguerite Bourgeoys mausoleum.
The family would like to thank the Saint Mary’s Hospital staff for their efforts and dedication.

Cara Daniela, Bruno, Piero,
in queste occasioni nn si sa mai cosa dire ed è difficile trovare le parole giuste e certamente la distanza nn aiuta ad esprimerle.
So che zia da tempo nn stava bene e penso che ora è in un posto dove nn esiste dolore ed è certo che resterà nel nostro cuore.
Noi l'abbiamo conosciuta attraverso i racconti di mamma...
storie di quando erano bambine e giovani ragazze, poi attraverso le belle foto che ci inviavate per le feste di Natale od eventi particolari e questo ha creato un legame familiare imprescindibile che mi auguro continui attraverso te Bruno e Piero.
Qualcuno può pensare che siamo un po' strani come "famiglia" perché nn diamo voce hai sentimenti!
ma la cosa importante è che quando c'è bisogno ci aiutiamo.
Spero che queste parole vi siano di conforto.
