In Memory Of POLAN, Geraldine

Geraldine Ranger ( nee Polan )
March 2, 1924 – February 13, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Ranger on Wednesday, February 13, in her 95th year.
Geraldine was the beloved wife of the late Marc Ranger, and the cherished sister of the late Eleanor Brodrick and the late Dr. Desmond Polan.
Aunt Gerry will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, from the Brodrick, Polan and Ranger families.
She also leaves behind numerous wonderful friends, who provided great companionship and joy throughout her life, some of whom were also valued travelling companions.
In her early career, Geraldine was a renowned home and fashion consultant, and one of the first women in Montreal to host a radio show.
After moving to Quebec City with her husband Marc, she continued to work at TVA in television and radio until her retirement.
A family memorial will take place in early summer.
The world has lost a kind, generous, bright and happy soul.
We will miss her dearly.
