Madeleine Supino, age 65, passed away on Monday, October 28th, 2019, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal.
She was born March 25, 1954, in Montreal, to Dominic and Erminia (Lapenna) Supino. Beloved sister to Angela Supino, sister-in-law to Peter Mayka, and loving “Auntie Maddie” to her niece, Pia Supino-Mayka.
A bright, fun-loving and strong woman with a passion for art, cafes, traveling and the occasional martinis, she will be sorely missed not only by her family but by her many friends and former colleagues at the NHL.
We would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital and the ICU staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and support.
Family, friends and others whose lives Madeleine touched are invited to celebrate her life at the Kane Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Thursday, November 7th from 2 pm to 5 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm (valet service available).
In lieu of flowers consider making a donation to World Vision, an organization Maddie supported, the Cancer Society or a charity of your choosing.
A private interment, at a later date, will follow for the immediate family.
