Dear Michel, Isabel and the MacWillam family. I wish to offer you my deepest condolences on the passing of your dear sister and my old friend, Pat. Although many years had past since we had been in contact with one another, it was with great pleasure that I discovered some ten years ago that she was living in my neighbourhood at St. Patrick’s Square when my sister, Patsy McManus moved in. We had some great conversations talking over old times and whenever we were together at the parties in the square we would enjoy a good jitter bug dance together. She will be sadly missed by the many people whose lives she touched with her kindness.

This is to Pat’s family, and choir friends,
Pat will remain in my heart and souvenir, more like an angel, and a great woman leader, and a friend forever. She was the first to welcome me in the St-Patrick’s Cathedral Choir, and remained from that day on a supportive friend. She supported me during my mother’s illness and passing, always supporting the idea that family is important, and talking so highly of her own family. She was a true and admirable leader in my view, and a friend I could always count on. Our first encounter was in a church, and our relation remained around God’s blessing, and our musical church ministry . I will remember Pat for her great generosity, her big big heart, her generous support, great sense of humour, and love for family 💕. I wish my sincere condoléances to her family, my former peer Pierre MacKay ((KPMG if I recall properly) and whom she talked so highly about at every occasion)) and all my St-Patrick’s choir peers who , like me, mourn the loss of a great friend and an angel, whom we look forward to be reunited with in a couple of years or decades. To Pierre, other members’ of Pat’s family, and my St-Patrick’s choir friends, know that I share your loss. I am sorry I will no longer enjoy her presence here on hearth, but will pray for her and her reaching the singing angels for God’s glory, hoping to be reunited soon, with the hope to be invited to the eventual funeral.
Pat was to me a great friend, a great leader, and a woman admired for everything she stood for. She will be missed a lot.
