In loving memory of Emelda Pope who passed away peacefully at her home on Nov 12th, 2020 at the age of 68. She devoted her life to her two beautiful daughters Amanda and Natasha and her grandchildren Khadijah, Anisah and Jamil.
Born in Belle Garden, Tobago she was a proud Tobagonian who never missed a cultural event with her flag tied to her purse. She was a true Trini to the bone who loved music and dancing. She also loved to cook and host dinner parties which had lots of food and lots of laughter. She loved to see you eat and enjoy her food. You would never leave her house empty handed, even if all she had was a candy.
Emelda will be remembered for her beautiful soul. Such a kind, genuine, selfless person with extended hands. Her smile was affectionate and could brighten up a room. She was a simple woman who enjoyed being with her family. A phenomenal, loving and proud mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was a mother to all and will be dearly missed by all those who were privileged to have known her. Rest in peace Emelda Pope. And know that we will continue to honor your legacy.
