Katsoulis, Eleni (Née Trakaki)
March 19,1916-February 20,2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Eleni Katsoulis, wife of the late Panagiotis Katsoulis. She was the last of sixteen children of Konstantinos & DimitraTrakakis.
She leaves to mourn her beloved children Kosta (the late Tassia), Artemis (the late Nino), Tasos(Elizabeth). Cherished Grandmother of Helen (John), Mary, Peter (Allison), Chris, Anthony, Angela (Ralph), Peter (Katherine), Helen (Mike), Diana (Steve) , Adoring Great-grandmother to Alex, Michael, Anastasia, Kosta, Nikolas, Sophia, Diana, Tasos, James and Johnny.
Our manoula was born in Sikaraki, Laconia, Greece. In 1959 she immigrated with her family to Montreal. Sadly her husband passed away that same year, leaving her alone with her three children to start all over in her new homeland. Having survived war, loss and relocation from her native Sparta, she lived humbly as a young widow. In her new life in Canada, she never remarried, dedicating her life to her growing family, her faith, and her charity work.
Though we have lost our manoula, we are grateful for, and celebrate her long life. Her legendary austerity, her wilful character and her selfless generosity have left their mark on our family and the many people whose lives she touched. Her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren are blessed with precious memories of her through the years. She will also be forever remembered, by numerous nieces, nephews, God children, extended family & dear friends here and in Greece.

A SPARTAN LADY has bowed-out gracefully!
Due to the current circumstances, the family will observe a private viewing and funeral on Monday March 1st.
