Private - Under Invitation Only

After 81 beautiful years, Corleta Walcott peacefully passed away with family by her side on April 7th, 2021.

Corleta spent her childhood and early adult years in her beloved home country of Barbados before moving to Canada with her young family in the seventies. Corleta was a strong, independent woman who fought adversity and worked hard to support her children on her own in a new and unfamiliar country.

Later in life, Corleta dedicated her time to being a loving Granny and being involved with her community – volunteering with her church, being a foster mother and much more. She will be greatly missed and remembered always for her love of dancing, good food, action movies and spending time with family.

Corleta is survived by her three children Sophia, Henderson & Charles (Maxine), granddaughters Victoria (Lucky), Katrina, Valencia, Alicia & Kayla, step-granddaughters Natasha, Tania & Vanessa, Great-Grandson Skyler, step-great grandchildren Nathifa, Chelsea, Chloë, Ayana, Riley & Jeriah, her siblings Mavis, Winston, Keith, Ralph, Faye, Lena & Errol and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. She will also be deeply remembered by her loving church community and many long-time friends.

The memorial service will be held privately, but the family greatly appreciates your loving support and condolences.
