Edgar Johnston Rae McDougall

1938-2021

On Friday, April 23rd, 2021 with the warm afternoon sunshine on his face, Edgar Johnston Rae McDougall passed away at home with his loving family by his side. Son of the late E. Price McDougall and Madeleine Johnston, Ed is survived by the love of his life of 54 years Patricia McNally, his children Patricia, Mary (David Delaney), James (Barbara Ott), and Elaine (Joseph Green).  Beloved Poppy to grandchildren Kathleen (Alexandre Baril), Nicky (Toan-Anh La) and Olivia DiCaprio, Dylan, Gavin and Tara Delaney and Matthew and Madeleine Green as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A true gentleman whose family was his life, our Poppy will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 Our warmest thanks to everyone who supported the family during these last few months: Kelly Brues who made sure he always had his special treats, the Palliative Care team including Joan Foster, Alison Quinn, Paula Habib, Jill Tom and the many family and friends who supported Ed in his journey.
