It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Lucas after a long battle with Cancer.
Beloved father of Jonathan (Tina), Jason (Shari), Tracy (George). Cherished Grandpa To Briana, Brittany, Kiara, Courtney, Alexis, Marisa and Lauryn. John also leaves to mourn his dear friend Wendy, his brothers Robert, Erskine, Eric and their families back in Barbados, and the many relatives of the Lucas and Worrell families and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the staff of the Jewish General Hospital for the kindest and exceptional care of John during his illness.
Visitation will take place at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 boulevard Decarie, Montreal, Quebec, H3W 3C4 on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, and again on Thursday, July 1st from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a service to remember the life of John. Cremation will follow in the days after.
Due to the current circumstances, regarding the pandemic, the service can only accommodate 50 people which includes the family.
However, you can join virtually to celebrate his life on July 1st, 2021 at 11:00 am, Eastern Time.
