TREMBLAY (Mrs. Ghislaine)

Ghislaine Tremblay, daughter of Alcide Tremblay and Rose-Aimee Turcotte, passed away peacefully at Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland at the age of 78. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Josée, Stephane (Alissa) and Caroline (Jean); her four beloved grandchildren: Meagan, Jessica, Sophie and Tristan will always remember Mamie Gigi’s warmth and wonderful sense of humour; dear sister to the late Normand (Diane Fortin) and the cherished aunt to Suzanne, Eric and Sylvie.

Ghislaine’s zest for life was evident in her extensive world travels with her late husband Pierre and children. She had a joie de vivre and a great love for her family.

Many hearfelt thanks to the CLSC Dorval-Lachine, Royal Victoria Palliative Care Unit and Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their care in her final days. At family’s wishes, flowers or donations can be made to these establishments.

A celebration of Ghislaine’s life will be held in the Spring of 2022 at the St-Wilbrod Church, 8 rue Notre-Dame, Hébertville-Station.  For more details, contact the church at 418-343-2232.
