Branka Janekovic Joris, aged 100, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born in Zagreb, Croatia on January 14, 1919 and was predeceased by her parents and her three brothers and sister, as well as her beloved husband Pavel in 1987.
Remembered for her bright spirit, feistiness, wit and zest for life, Branka will be fondly remembered and missed by her dear friends.
Special thanks to all the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital on the 8th floor for their care.
Cremation has taken place and a brief gathering of prayer for close friends will be held on August 22, 2019 at 3:30 pm at the cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges La Pietà Colombarium.
