RHÉAUME, Jean-Louis May 26, 1920 – January 24, 2019 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Rhéaume in his 99th year on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Edna, his children John (Nancy), Mary (Tom), Jeanne (Patrick) & Robert (Mary), eleven grandchildren and his sister Madeleine Rolland. He was predeceased by his father Hervé, his mother Emma and his siblings Gerald, Irene, Gertie, Jeanne and Guy. Special thanks to the many workers that provided him with compassionate care in his home, especially to Nadine & Marika, and to the medical team at St. Mary’s hospital. Visitation will take place at Kane & Fetterly funeral home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. on Wednesday, January 30 from 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Monica’s Parish, 6405 Terrebonne Ave on Thursday, January 31 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
