It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elisa, affectionately known as “Minuccia” to close family, on Monday at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Montreal.
Born in Paternopoli (Avellino), she emigrated to Canada as a young bride in 1959. She joins her cherished husband and son, Felice and Silvio and is survived by her children Daniela, Bruno and Piero.
The family will receive condolences Monday, January 4 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Kane & Fetterly funeral home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation, 3830 Lacombe Ave., suite 1510, Montréal QC, H3T 1M5, https://stmaryshospitalfoundation.ca/donate-now/.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection chapel, 4601 Côte-des-Neiges Road, Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery and she will be interred alongside her husband and son at the Marguerite Bourgeoys mausoleum.
