Murray M Quinn
August 3rd 1937 - December 22nd 2019
He loved many people and many people loved him. Some live long lives others died too soon . Those like his adored grandchildren Lauren ( Steven ) ,Sam ,Veronica & Eli have many adventures to come .
Murray was born in Quebec City to Lillian (McMahon ) and Fred Quinn Predeceased, also his brother Ronald and sister Audrey . He leaves to mourn his loving brother Michael He was a student of St Patrick’s School ,then at l’École Des Beaux Arts for 5 years from there he worked in design ,eventually becoming President of Mitchell Holland Murray loved to dance with his first wife of 59yrs, his long time conspirator Barbara (ne Kerr . )His adoring children Jennifer & Mark (Angela) would so look forward to when the 3=Murray , Ronnie ,and Michael would get together and make everyone laugh ,sometimes uncontrollably....His early years in Quebec City included a cast of characters who used bows and arrows ,much too Lilly s dismay, and build operational steam engines out of garbage cans , and spent some time eluding authorities. He loved fast cars ,long skis , sleek sailboats and he loved music ,especially Jazz... in retirement he continued to downhill ski , cycle ,travel and attend evening classes at Mc Gill .he believed travel and education were the best ways to honour human dignity ...
He was a deeply loved and loving son, husband , father and grandfather. He died peaceful at home on Nuns Island , this was his desire and would not have been made possible without the constant and loving care of Barbara. We loved him deeply and he loved us .He died in in peace and with grace . He left the world a more beautiful place .
And we are most grateful to the kind and caring care that was given by the ladies and gentlemen of the CLSC of Verdun .
