The Life and Legacy of Kathleen Jackson:
Kathleen Jackson was affectionately called Sister Lue, Baby Lue, Shorty, Mummy, Miss Lue, Mama Lue and Sister Jackson, by family and friends. She was the 5th child of 13 children born to the late Andrew and Isadora Jackson, on October 31, 1941, in Red Hills, St. Andrew, Jamaica, West Indies.  Also, four brothers and two sisters proceeded her in death.

Kathleen received her formal education at Red Hills All Age School. She worked as a casual worker in St. Andrew, Jamaica, for many years before migrating to the Montreal, Canada.

Kathleen’s Life: Kathleen migrated to Montreal, Canada, in 1992 with two daughters Michelle and Debbie to join her first daughter Erma. While she lived in Canada, Kathleen took care of her grandchildren. Also, on occasions, she would babysat children in her neighborhood.

Kathleen accepted Jesus Christ into her life and baptized at Red Hills Baptist Church in St. Andrew, Jamaica, W.I. While in Canada she attended West Hill Pentecostal Church and then Christ The Rock New Ministry with Senior Pastor Stevens.

The Legacy:
Kathleen lived a full life. Peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2021, she departed this life 2 months before her 80th birthday at Lachine General Hospital. Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory, her 6 Children: Trevor, Noel, Erma, Donna (Ishmael Binns), Michelle, and Debbie (Phillip Longchamp). 18 Grandchildren: Issac, Shanee, Shaneca, Trudy-Ann, Sunil, Renaldo (Christina Williams), Cavor, Natasha, Kerry-Ann (Omarie Harrison), Kelly-Ann (Recardo Williams), Drezel, Collis, Recardo, Latoya, Vandana, Sekona, Jayla, and Jaylen. 26 Great grandchildren: Jahbarry, Yealana, Christian, Soema, Natalia, Shameak, Khalil, Jordeen, Cavana, Sunniva, Jahzeal, Neima, Naim, Susan, Neema, Rickel, Khalani, Quinton, Tyler, Tristan, Makaila, Malcolm, Keon, Taevon, Aidan, and Kysean. 3 brothers: Lambert, Philbert (Gertrude Jackson) and Andrew (Dawn Jackson); 3 sisters: Mahalia, Beryl and Yvonne.  Sisters–in-laws: Maude and Catherine; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Like Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Kathleen can truly say beyond the shadow of a doubt; she had fought the good fight, she had finished her course, she had kept the faith and there laid up for her a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give to her on the day of judgment; however, there are more crows available for all those who want to accept the Lord as their own personal Lord and savior and wait for his appearing or their home going, AMEN.
