Funeral service advisor / director

Helping families when they lose a loved one is not for all. It is a vocation. Our funeral counsellors are not driven by commissions but by a passion for helping grieving families without having to oversell or worry about meeting quotas.

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT

TASKS

• Advising and supporting grieving families
• Evaluating needs
• Coordinating and planning funerals
• Directing funerals and ceremonies

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous relevant working experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Strong empathy and active listening skills
• Comfortable supporting families experiencing grief, and loss
• Attentive to details
• Intuitive, proactive, motivated
• Team player yet independent

OTHER INFORMATION

• Flexible schedule or regular schedule
• 40 hours per week
• Salary to be discussed
