It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Neill announces her passing at the age of 93. Surrounded by her family, she passed peacefully December 4th, 2023, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Charles (Chuck) Neill, devoted mother to Robert, Keith, Sandra and son-in-law Joey, grandmother to Andrea and her fiancé Marcus and Brandon and his fiancé Alexia, and the dear sister to Jack and Robert Baird, and Betty Freeman.

Married for more than 60 years to her soulmate and living happily together in Montreal West. She was an amazing caring mother, always there when you needed her. She is loved unconditionally. Joan cherished all her friends through the many clubs and gatherings: badminton, golf, YMCA, investment club and the coffee club that met in her backyard. She was always active and caring for others. She will be dearly missed.

The family thanks her many caregivers at the Waldorf for their attention and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at JDRF.ca to help research towards finding a cure for Diabetes.
