We regret to announce the passing of Zenonas Valinskas, fondly known as Zeno, at the age of 91 years. 

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 68 years, Roma Jukonis. Tevelis (Father) to his four sons: Robertas (Cynthia), Tadas (Vilija), Andrius, and Marius (Miranda) and Tetukas (Grandfather) to his four grandchildren: Erik (Gill), Paulius, Tomas, and Katia. 

Zeno was born in Lithuania and emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1948. He worked in the garment industry early in his career and later joined CAE as an Electronics Technician where he retired after a successful 40-year career. He had many passions and hobbies including fishing and mushroom picking in Lac Sylvère, Qc with his lifelong friends. He often enjoyed cheering on the Montreal Alouettes and Montreal Expos at the Olympic Stadium with his sons and friends. He loved taking care of his garden where he grew some of the most delicious vegetables and was a master at making jams and sauces with the fruits from the plum, pear and apple trees that he grew in their backyard. He will be deeply missed. 

The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Gate of Dawn Lithuanian Church, 1465 de Seve, Montreal, H4E 2A8. The family will receive condolences at the church starting at 10:00 AM.
