It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carmen Faytaren Jacobe, born on February 28, 1933 in the Philippines; she peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on December 22, 2025.

She was a devoted mother to her six children: Janet (Albert), Josephine, Pacifico Jr. (Babylyn), Wedmar (Myrna), Jocelyn, and Jinky (Perry). A cherished grandmother to: Monika (Philippe), Konrad (Lailaa), Patrick (Sabrina), Stephanie, John, Faye, Jessica, Isabelle, and Jerome, as well as her great-grandchild Akio.

She is survived by her siblings: Renato Faytaren, George Faytaren, Ruben Faytaren and Cenona Faytaren Fufunan.

Carmen was known for her quiet strength, dignity, and unwavering presence. She showed her love for her family through care, warmth, consistency, and generosity. She always ensured those around her were well, and she found great joy in sharing quality time with her family and friends.

Carmen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
