Obituary for Merna Henry

February 10, 1934 - June 06, 2025

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Merna Henry.

Merna was a woman of great strength, class and kindness, always putting others first. 

She had strong Christian beliefs and was a very proud Jamaican-Canadian, who embraced both cultures.

Merna was the loving mother of Sandra Vaughn and the late Anthony Martin.

She was a sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be remembered for her wisdom, story-telling/Proverbs, perseverance, unity, and amazing cooking. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cultural traditions.

A celebration of her life will be held on June 27th, 2025 @12:00 at Kane-Fetterly, 5301, boul. Décarie Montréal, QC H3W 3C4.
