In Loving Memory of Florence Amy Nelson Lobo
Date of Birth September 5, 1937 – July 3, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Florence Nelson Lobo, on July 3, 2025.

She was the devoted wife of the late Harold Lobo who passed away in 1995. A loving mother of four children (Diana, Colin, Ryan and Selena)  and grandmother (Emma and Maya).  She is now reunited with her beloved husband and cherished son, who predeceased her in 2015. She leaves behind three children and two grandchildren who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Florence was known for her warmth and quiet spirit. Her great strength and  unwavering devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She touched those who loved her and her absence will be deeply felt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 p.m., both at St. Ignatius Church 4455 Rue West Broadway, Montréal, QC H4B 2A7. Interment will follow at 1:45 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.

A celebration of her life and reception will take place later that day at 6:00 p.m. at St. John Fisher Church Hall.  120 Av. Summerhill, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 2L7

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
