In Loving Memory of Marcia Liwski

February 21, 1947 – July 13, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcia Liwski, who was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2025.

Marcia was a devoted and loving mother to her son Tave Della Porta (wife Myldred) and daughter Zaina (husband Rachid). She was a proud and adoring grandmother—affectionately known as Babci to Leonardo and Grandma to Chouaib.

She was the beloved sister of Don Liwski (wife Nina) and fondly known as Cioci to her nephews Christopher and Matthew.

She was also a cherished step-grandmother to Chad and Mateo.

Marcia was a faithful servant to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and lived her life with deep compassion, kindness, and humility. A lifelong schoolteacher, she enriched the lives of countless students and touched everyone she met with her warmth, wisdom, and joy.

Her presence, prayers, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 10:15 AM at St. Kevin's Church. 5600 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3T 1Z1

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her memory to the West Island Assistance Fund, a cause close to Marcia’s heart.
