Gerald James McCarthy, retired judge of the Quebec Court of Appeal, has died. Son of the late Eugene McCarthy and the late Mary Curran, he was predeceased by his sister Shirley McCarthy and is survived by his sister Eleanor McCarthy Craig and by several cousins and their families. Funeral Mass to be held at the Ascension of Our Lord Church, 375 Kitchener Avenue, Westmount on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. May he rest in peace.
