It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy. As a musicologist, piano teacher and arts administrator, she devoted her life to the advancement of young musicians. Founder of the Orchestre Symphonique des Jeunes de Montréal and Début concert series. Member of the Order of Canada. Predeceased by her loving husband, Ted. Sadly missed by sons, Rod (Jane), Geoff (Martha), Jamie (Gigi) and seven grandchildren. Funeral service to be held on Friday, December 22nd at 10:00 a.m., The Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul, 3415 Redpath Street, Montreal.
