1920 – 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gilbert Prevost in his 96th year. A proud veteran of WWII, Bomber Command, RCAF.
Beloved father of Eileen (Ed), John (Kristine), and Brian. Grandfather to Jason, Christopher, Tiffany, Erin, Emily and Maggie. Great-grandfather of six.
Pre-deceased by his spouse of 48 years, Louise Healy and his first wife Margo Cote.
Many thanks to the staff of Saint Anne’s Veterans Hospital, with special thanks to the staff of Unit T-11.
Remembered for his good spirit, a lover of art and music; and always a true gentleman
Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Richard’s Parish, 7070 Guelph, Cote St. Luc, on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m., thence to Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Saint Anne’s Veterans Foundation in his name would be appreciated.
