Funeral counselor / embalmer OR funeral counselor

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT

Permanent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guidance and emotional support for grieving families
• Assess clients' need and preferences
• Coordinate and plan funeral services
• Directing funerals and ceremonies
• Opportunity to perform embalming duties two days per week

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver’s licence
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Strong empathy and active listening skills
• Comfortable supporting families experiencing grief, and loss
• Attentive to details
• Intuitive, proactive, motivated
• Team player yet independent

OTHER INFORMATION

• Flexible schedule or regular schedule
• 40 hours per week
• Salary to be discussed
