LOUGHMAN, Kevin Joseph Francis
1928 - 2018.
In his 90th year, Kevin, beloved husband of Barbara (Delaney) for 63 years.
Loving father of Michael (Francine), Robert (David), Joanne (Kristina), Gregg (Eileen)and grandfather to Deen, Kylie, Michael and Juliet. Passed away peacefully in Montreal on January 14, 2018. He will be sadly missed by his loving twin sister Patricia. Predeceased by his brothers Donald and Gerald.
Kevin was born in Montreal in 1928 to Kathleen Kavanagh and Michael Aloysius Loughman.
He was the father everyone wanted: gentle, patient and kind. Kevin retired from a long and successful career with the Hudson’s Bay Company in 1996.
He was a devout Catholic and a warden of St. Richard’s church for many years. Kevin put a smile on the face of all who knew him and his memory will be cherished. Rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon you.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Mary’s Hospital Foundation (Geriatrics).
Family will receive condolences at Kane and Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Blvd .(corner Isabella), Montreal, QC H3W 3C4, on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral service will be in St. Richard's Church, 7070 Guelph Rd, Cote St Luc, Quebec, on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00, followed by a burial at Notre Dame Des Neiges Cemetery, Montreal at a later date.
