STEWART, Mary Frances
Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on May 20, 2015 at the age of 95.
She is survived by her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Stewart, niece Anne-Marie Hodge (Bruce) of London, Ontario, great-niece Valerie (Hodge) Thorsen (Randy) of Alberta and great-great-nieces Emily Thorsen and Annabelle Leblanc, and many cousins in Ireland. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth Stewart (nee Bennett) and Francis Stewart, her brothers John and William (Bill) Stewart, her nephew Paul Stewart and great-nephew David Hodge.
Mary taught English as a second language at the Saint-Jean Military College for many years. She enjoyed Irish music and dancing.
Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Monica's Church, 6405 de Terrebonne on Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
