Christopher Howlett 1944-2015
Predeceased by his parents, Dr. John Howlett and Alphonsine Paré Howlett and his oldest brother John. He is survived by his brothers, Peter (Morag) and Michael (Christina) and his sister Martha (Eric) and his sons, Sean and Julian and their mother, Louise Mercier and his nieces and nephews, Eric and Maija Savics, Cameron and Katherine Howlett, Sarah and Jane Howlett, and many, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Christopher was a physical and intellectual force with an unyielding will who overcame lifelong adversity without losing a penetrating sense of humour and an encompassing interest in all things and everyone he met. People were strongly attracted to him. He was well loved and had an extraordinary range of friends. He will be deeply missed. His family appreciates the care provided by the fifth floor team at St-Mary’s Hospital. Donations in his name to the charity of your choice will be very much appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at the Ascension of Our Lord Church, Westmount (corner Clarke & Sherbrooke) on Friday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m.
