Howard passed away peacefully at the Montreal General Hospital after a short illness.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene Kernaghan.
He was a long time parishioner of the Church of St James the Apostle (now St Jax Montreal) and worshipped there for 83 years. He leaves to mourn his many friends and acquaintances. Howard will be remembered as a kindly man who befriended all who came his way. Cremation has taken place courtesy of Kane & Fetterly.
A Memorial Service and Holy Eucharist in memory of Howard will take place at the Church of St James the Apostle on Friday, September 16, at 11:00 am with a reception to follow in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of St James the Apostle (St Jax Montreal).
