Carolina Iaizzo-Iacampo (1934-2020)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on September 11, 2020 at the age of 86 years old.

Loving wife of the late Pasquale Iacampo. She leaves behind her daughters Maria and Carmela, her great granddaughters Alessia and Melania, her siblings Maria, Nicola, Domenico, Rita and Mario along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Born in Vinchiaturo, Italy she came to Canada in 1955. She lived a happy life, never afraid of hard work. She loved her family gatherings, cooking for her loved ones and taking care of her home and garden. Her attention to detail was reflected in everything she touched. She will be remembered for her beauty and elegance. She was a genuine person, with warm hands, loving heart and generous without limitation – simply a wonderful person. All who knew her and loved her consider it an honour and privilege to have known her.

Our hearts will miss her terribly and she leaves us with a void that could never be filled. The warmth of her spirit will forever remain in our hearts until we meet again. Ma, we love you so…so…so…so much.

Visitation at the Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella) on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday before leaving for the church from 11:00 – 12:15. Guests are kindly asked to respect the covid guidelines for social distancing and masks are required. Funeral Mass at Ste Catherine de Sienne Church, 7070 Somerled avenue, Mtl., on Tuesday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m., thence to Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
